Help with online site

As everyone knows I work for the Chancery Clerk; who has a land records online site. Which I'm the lucky one who has to help customers when they have problems with the site. I check the proquest mail every day, and there is always mail in the box due to problems even on Sundays and Holidays. I think it would be beneficial if the counties that have online sites would get a 24 hour help desk, if only to answer questions that the customers might have. It could help the customer and the employees, so that the customer would not have to wait extended periods of time before getting an answer to a simple question.

Public Cafes

Public cafes are nice when hanging out with friends, but they can be a very dangerous place for your personal computer. Never use a public cafe to pay bills or check your banking statements, unless you use a portable Firefox. This protects you and your computer.

Phishing

I know you've seen alot about Phishing lately; I've learned from my financial institution to carefully check the website address if I'm ever directed to a third party web address. Don't get caught by a phisher.

Can't find what you're looking for!

Have you ever had one of those days when you're on the internet looking for something and you can't seem to find what you need? Someone told me to put Quote marks around the search term.

New Info

How does someone get information on documents that pertain to their property? You can go to local County government office or you can save time and go to their website. For instance Harrison County has a website where you can go and do land searches, just by using the individuals name. So next time you need a copy of your warranty deed, try to go the Harrison County website and do your research. http://www.co.harrison.ms.us/. Give it a try and see what you can come up with.
